Azzate is situated between Bodio Lomnago and locality Capolago, it's famous for the presence of various eighteenth-century villas and houses on its territory, located north of the town towards lake Varese, thanks to its favorable geographical position and the fame it has always had as an artistic and cultural centre. Interesting the Madonnina del lago Sanctuary, the prepositural church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and San Rocco Oratory.
