Dock of corso Europa in Arona

Built in the late Sixties outside Arona coming from Dormelletto used for the recreation navigation for the people of Arona and of impassioned of the lake of the neighboring countries, actually there are about 144 places boat. A project of the Nineties provided that it could be the main port of the city, then it preferred the touristic public landing stage of the lake-front of corso Marconi.
It is contained by a natural dock servant with rocks and it is mainly destined to small boats not superior at 6 mt. . It has tilted sides in cement with function of slipway and ramp of mooring for temporary mooring, without any proper equipment for the recreation navigation, the bottom is little deep and sandy/muddy. In the night, the entry is signalled by a red light.

PROHIBITIONS FOR WATER SCOOTER AND SIMILAR
With "Order n. 40" of 19/06/2001, it's forbidden the use of water scooters and similar on lake Maggiore in front of the Municipality of Arona, along the routes of the line boats and in front of the port areas, beaches, camping sites and bathing establishments for a radius of 200 meters from the shore, as specified in the attached file in .pdf (126 kb, Italian version)
