Magadino is situated on the road that from Vira Gambarogno directs toward Tenero and it belongs to the communes of the famous "Riviera del Gambarogno". Historically it was an important port where it was built, in 1826, the boat "Verbano". To visit the parish church of San Carlo and the demonstration "International Festival of Organistic Music" that it takes place in the month of July; to admire for their oneness, in the north of the town in a protected zone of 140 hectares, the "Beads of Magadino", small ponds with afloat islets where there is the habitat with numerous flora and fauna's kinds.
