Year 2022 - Obstruction of touristic port in via Vittorio Veneto : after meteorological events of 10/10/2013, with severe damage to the breakwater, with Ordinance n. 13/2013 is prohibited to entry, to transit and mooring in all areas and piers of the port, as specified in the attached file .pdf (140 kb, in Italian version)

Description before the sinking of the port after meteorological events: In Pallanza, near to the entry of the famous botanical garden of Villa Taranto, there is the touristic port of Verbania, positioned on afloat wharves. The entry is ample and of easy access, the bottom is deep and muddy/stones, the spaces to maneuver are excellent; inside the ample port's car park there is a great ramp of towing (1) for unities of great dimensions. There are 146 places boat, some of them are destined to the temporary mooring; on afloat wharves there are the mullions of the water and of electricity. In the night, the entry is signalled by the typical turrets red and green.
