Regional port in Locarno

The Regional port of Locarno is of great dimensions, positioned on floating docks, and it is characterized by an ample entry of easy access, the bottom is sandy/muddy and deep, the spaces to maneuver are excellent and it offers moorings for 400 boats; there are the mullions for the water, for the electricity and for the filthy waters. There is also a great slipway for all boats (1), if you want to use it ask to the Port Office. In the south entry of the port there are some buoys that delimit the channel of entrance to avoid troubles and dangers to the adjacent sporting installations: in the channel of entrance there is the same limit of speed in force as in the port (3 knots, 5 km/h). The places of transit or for the temporary mooring are assigned by the Port Office, after the mooring pass immediately in the Port Office. In the night, the entry is signalled by the typical turrets red and green.
